July Jung will return to the Cannes Film Festival with her new film “Dora” officially invited to the Directors’ Fortnight section.

The film follows a family staying at a seaside villa during summer, where a mysterious illness and first love begin to quietly shake their lives, starring Kim Doyeon and Sakura Ando.

Jung previously gained recognition at Cannes with “A Girl at My Door” and “Next Sohee”, continuing her long-standing relationship with the festival through “Dora”.

The project was co-produced by companies from South Korea, France, Luxembourg and Japan, with multinational crews participating in cinematography, VFX, sound design and color grading.

Following its world premiere in Cannes, “Dora” is scheduled for release in South Korea in the second half of 2026.
