Seoul Art Cinema will host the 20th “Friends of Cinematheque Film Festival” from May 7 to June 2.

Launched as a support project for a non-profit cinematheque, the event has grown into a signature program, this year themed “The Promise of Cinema”.

The opening ceremony, hosted by actor Kwon Hae-hyo, will feature The General accompanied by live piano performance.

The lineup includes classics such as The Leopard, The Umbrellas of Cherbourg, and Duel of the Dragons, offering diverse cinematic experiences.

Special talks and a policy forum will also be held during the festival, which takes place in central Seoul with tickets priced at 9,000 won.
