The film Bedford Park, starring and produced by Choi Hee-seo and Son Suk-ku, has been officially invited to the U.S. Dramatic Competition at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival.

The film follows Audrey (Choi Hee-seo), a Korean American woman, and Eli (Son Suk-ku), a former wrestler adopted as a child, as they navigate love and heal from personal trauma.
The U.S. Dramatic Competition is one of Sundance’s core sections, marking the first time in six years since Minari (2020) that a film featuring Korean actors has been selected.
Held every January, the Sundance Film Festival is the largest independent film festival in the United States, and Bedford Park marks the feature-length directorial debut of Stephanie Ahn, with its world premiere scheduled for January 24.
Only 10 films were selected for the section this year, heightening expectations for the film’s artistic quality and global release prospects.
