The official poster for the film The Man Who Lives with the King has been released.

Set to open on February 4, the film is set in Cheongnyeongpo in 1457 and tells the story of a village chief who volunteers his village as a place of exile and a young deposed king sent into banishment.

The poster features contrasting images of Park Ji-hoon as the young former king Lee Hong-wi and Yoo Hae-jin as the village chief Eom Heung-do.

Two versions of the poster, set against a raft and the exile site, hint at the evolving relationship between the two characters.

The tagline, “A story history tried to erase,” heightens curiosity about the hidden narrative behind the well-known tale of King Danjong.
