Netflix’s global hit K-Pop Demon Hunters is moving toward a sequel.

Variety reported that Sony and Netflix have entered talks to produce the follow-up.

The first film drew 236 million views in just 10 weeks, becoming Netflix’s most-watched original movie.

Its OST track Golden topped the Billboard Hot 100 for two consecutive weeks, while seven other songs remained on the chart for seven straight weeks.

Director Maggie Kang hinted at the sequel, saying, “Beyond Lumi, we’ve also prepared backstories for members Joy and Mira.”
