The film “Zombie Daughter” drew 5,000,168 cumulative viewers as of 7 p.m. on August 24, just 26 days after its release.

This marks the first domestic release of 2025 to surpass 5 million admissions and the first film in about 11 months to do so since “Veteran 2.”

The film’s pace also outstripped “Smugglers” (36 days) and exceeded the final tally of “Pilot” (4.71 million viewers).

“Zombie Daughter” has continued to set records, achieving the longest streak of 23 consecutive days at No. 1 at the box office this year, along with the highest opening for a Korean comedy film.

To celebrate the milestone, Jo Jung-suk, Lee Jung-eun, Cho Yeo-jeong, Choi Yu-ri, Yoon Kyung-ho, and director Pil Gam-seong shared handwritten messages of gratitude with fans.
