The fantasy animation K-pop Demon Hunters, which blends K-pop and supernatural themes, has ranked No. 1 in Netflix’s Global TV Shows category for two consecutive days.

According to FlixPatrol, the film topped the charts in 26 countries including South Korea, the U.S., and Japan, and entered the Top 10 in a total of 93 countries—an increase of 64 from its debut day.

The film features voice performances by Ahn Hyo-seop and Lee Byung-hun, and was produced by Sony Pictures Animation.

A collaboration between K-pop and Asian creators, the project is seen as a step beyond the globalization of K-content—toward global cultural K-localization.
