The court has ruled that girl group NewJeans (now using the name NJZ) must not carry out independent activities.

The Seoul Central District Court accepted a request for an injunction filed by ADOR, banning NewJeans from acting independently.

The group began independent promotions last November, claiming their exclusive contract with ADOR had been terminated.

In response, ADOR filed for an injunction to stop the members from signing advertising deals and engaging in entertainment activities.

The court’s decision effectively puts a hold on NewJeans’ music, advertisement, and all other entertainment-related activities.
