BTS’s Jungkook has made history as the first Asian solo artist to have his song ‘Seven’ remain on Spotify’s ‘Daily Top Songs Global’ chart for 600 days.

Additionally, ‘Seven’ has been ranked on the ‘Weekly Top Songs Global’ chart for a record-breaking 87 weeks, the longest for any Asian solo artist.

Upon release, ‘Seven’ surpassed 112.83 million streams in its first week and became the fastest song in Spotify history to reach 2.2 billion streams. It also ranked 11th among the most streamed songs of the 2020s on the platform.

The song has also stayed on Melon’s ‘TOP 100’ chart in Korea for 600 consecutive days, proving its enduring popularity.

Jungkook’s Spotify profile has amassed 8.4 billion total streams, setting new records as the first K-pop soloist and the fastest Asian artist to achieve this milestone.
