K-pop group SEVENTEEN has achieved the highest ranking among K-pop artists on the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry’s (IFPI) annual main chart.

According to the data released on the IFPI’s official website on the 18th (local time), SEVENTEEN secured 3rd place on the 2024 Global Artist Chart.

This ranking places them directly behind global pop stars Taylor Swift and Drake, marking an exceptional achievement for a K-pop act.

The Global Artist Chart is compiled annually by aggregating physical album sales, digital downloads, and audio and video streaming figures worldwide. It is considered an objective indicator of the year's most popular artists.

SEVENTEEN first entered the chart in 2021 at 9th place, then climbed to 6th in 2022 and 2nd in 2023, showcasing a consistent upward trajectory.
