Singers Kim Yeon-ja and Hong Ji-yoon are continuing the legacy of K-Trot in Japan.

Kim Yeon-ja has released her new song "海を渡る蝶 (Butterfly Across the Sea)" and is actively promoting it through local TV appearances, radio shows, and interviews.

Celebrating her 50th debut anniversary, Kim remains a beloved icon and pioneer of K-Trot's global presence.

Her junior, Hong Ji-yoon, is gearing up for her official debut in Japan with support from her agency Choi Lab and collaboration with Japanese record label Nippon Crown, fostering cultural exchange between the two nations.

After their promotional activities in Japan, both singers will return to Korea for the recording of KBS's Lunar New Year special "Trot Festival - THE COLOR."
