'Money' (1958) vividly depicts the harsh realities of rural Korea, including issues like predatory lending.
'The Housemaid' (1960) delves into human desires and social contradictions through the conflicts between a middle-class family and a housemaid aspiring for social mobility.
'Seong Chunhyang' (1961), Korea’s first color CinemaScope film, is celebrated for its vibrant colors and wide-screen presentation, marking a significant milestone in Korean cinematic history.
