The 25th Jeonju International Film Festival received 747 works in the international competition category, the highest record ever.

Among them, Asian films accounted for the largest number of films with 403, and Iran recorded the largest number of films by country with 110.

Overall, drama films (435 films) were the most common, followed by documentaries (233), experimental films (55), and animation (9 films).

The festival will be held in Jeonju from May 1 to 10.
