Figure skating star Shin Ji-ah is aiming for the crown in the women's singles short program at the Figure Junior World Championships.

Shin Ji-ah ranked second with a total score of 71.19 in the women's singles short program at the 2022-2023 International Skating Union (ISU) World Junior Championships held at Win Sports Arena A in Calgary, Canada on the 2nd (Korea time).
It is only 0.59 points difference from No. 1 Shimada Mao (71.78 points, Japan), so it is worth looking for a turnaround in the free skate.
She became the first South Korean to win the World Junior Championships last season since Kim Yu-na (silver in 2005 and gold in 2006).
The women's singles free skate at the World Junior Championships will be held on the 4th. If she succeeds, she will make history at the top of junior figure skating for the first time in 17 years since Kim Yu-na.
